Gifts of Scrip can be ordered in the Narthex for the family of Gilo Agwa, member of our presbytery, who have come to the States seeking political asylum, or financial support can be directed through the church.

The Dubuque Rescue Mission has been serving Christ in the poor for 75 years. We provide shelter for homeless men and hot meals to all who are hungry. In addition, we provide vouchers for clothing and household items. We also provide city bus passes for job searches. We invite all to morning prayer each day at 10:00 a.m. and Sunday worship at 11:30 a.m. Our facility is handicapped accessible. Monetary donations are always welcomed. We depend on the generosity of local churches and individuals to maintain our ministries.

A dollar to PIN is a dollar to people in need.

People In Need is founded on the belief that the spiritual health of a whole community and of its individual members depends on care for one another. PIN accepts financial contributions from groups and individuals, and it assists those temporarily in need by offering limited help in exceptional circumstances through direct payments to clients’ creditors, for rent, utilities, medical and other basic needs.

As a proud member of Dubuque Area Congregations Uninded (DACU) Westminster supports the Dubuque Food Pantry to make food available to needy people in the Tri-State Area. Clients are referred to the Pantry by chruches and religious organizations, public and private service agencies, and by members of the Board of Directors. The client then receives food and various other items at the Food Pantry, located at 1598 Jackson Street. The Board and Staff of the Food Pantry will work within the community to promote this Mission.
